Dining Hall

According to Chas Carlson, a major force in OA cooking, behind the doors of the dining hall kitchen, "It get's real hot, I yell a lot, and hopefully we make some good food." Each Lodge weekend, the kitchen provides two breakfasts, a lunch, a dinner, and two cracker barrels. Thus making six meals of culinary delight per weekend. Between four and nine youth and two adults work almost around the clock to prepare the savory meals that scouts and adult leaders enjoy. Most weekends, the kitchen tries to keep the food within a theme, creating a new themed menu for each event in most cases. If you have any suggestions or comments about the kitchen, be sure to contact the current Culinary King or any lodge officer for a referral.

The OA Grill

In the mood for a juicy cheeseburger or  fantastic hot dog? If so, be sure to check out the OA grill! For great food and cheap prices, you wont find any place better. The grill is usually located just outside the trading post.

Talent Release - By participating in any Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge activity, the participant, and the participant's legal guardian when the participant is a minor, grants Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge and Gulf Stream Council - and their officers, employees, agents, licensees, representatives, or assigns - permission and consent, to copyright, use, publish, exhibit, display, broadcast, or otherwise disseminate via any medium: film, video, kinescope, audio, still pictures, slides, or any other type of recording, which includes the participant's name, voice, and/or image or likeness. The participant and/or legal guardian waives any and all rights to inspection or approval of the final product. The participant and/or legal guardian waives any all rights to remuneration for uses consistent with this waiver. The participant and/or legal guardian further releases Aal-Pa-Lodge and Gulf Stream Council - and their officers, employees, agents, licensees, representatives, or assigns - from any liability arising out of uses consistent with this waiver, including but not limited to claims of misrepresentation or false light. Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge and Gulf Stream Council warrants they shall conduct all uses in manners consistent with the policies of the Boy Scouts of America.
